  • As part of Mission 600, Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell joined Speedway Motorsports and Coca-Cola executives on a visit to Arlington National Cemetery to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
  • The distinguished visitors also took part in a tour of the cemetery, visited with members of the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment and toured the Pentagon while in Washington, D.C.

ARLINGTON, VA (April 30, 2025) – As part of its annual tradition for the defending Coca-Cola 600 race winner to kick off Military Appreciation Month, Charlotte Motor Speedway hosted Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell, his wife, Morgan Bell, and team president Dave Alpern for an impactful visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Arlington National Cemetery is the final resting place for more than 400,000 servicemen and women and their families from every major United States conflict since the Revolutionary War.

  • Thomas Krasonis led from pole to secure his and Greece’s first win in the NASCAR Euro Series top division – The 23-year-old and teammate Vittorio Ghirelli brought home a 1-2 result for PK Carsport

The 2025 NASCAR GP Spain was a weekend Thomas Krasonis will never forget. The breakthrough is twofold for the Greek driver: after winning in OPEN on Saturday, Krasonis became the first Greece competitor to take victory in EuroNASCAR’s top division with an epic performance in PRO Round 02. Starting from pole, the PK Carsport driver made the perfect start and cruised to victory in the 18-lap race. Combined with his podium in PRO Round 01 from Saturday, Krasonis will leave the season opener as the driver to beat in the championship.

At just 18 years old, Connor Zilisch is set to make his NASCAR Cup Series debut this weekend in the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas. Trackhouse Racing’s young phenom racer, who won in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut a season ago, says he feels more confident in driving the NASCAR Cup Series car than he did the Xfinity car.

“Honestly, I feel like the cup car is more like what I’m used to,” Zilisch said in a Tuesday media availability. “You know, racing, sports cars, I’ve run a sequential gearbox in a TA car, and MX5 Cup car. You know, I think the build of the car is a lot more like I’m used to. It’s a stiffer platform, it’s an independent rear suspension. Sean Johnson Is Eighth Different Super Street Winner At Wiscasset
Wiscasset Speedway returned to action Saturday evening with a regular points program sponsored by Islebrook Village of Wiscasset for its Group 1 divisions and coming off the busy Labor Day weekend. Each weekly race show seems to reveal a theme of its own and Saturday was no exception. This show turned out to be a night redemption for some, and first-time victory lane appearances for others. Two different drivers rebounded from recent heartbreak to claim their first wins of the season. One young driver withstood a couple of late-race restarts to grab his first career win, and another driver continued to stack up wins in a dominant season. Mixed into this were several drivers turning in season-best performances and picking up their first hardware of the year.
