Chase Grennan of Glen Cove is quickly gaining a reputation among the NASCAR Modified ranks at Riverhead Raceway, and it’s one the 18-year-old second generation driver is proud to bear. After Chase survived a wild Oval Speed Unlimited Bubba 150 Saturday earning his third career win, he again sat in victory lane after another signature race at the historic bullring. Grennan started things off by winning the Islip 300 last November, then earlier in June won the 75th Anniversary Flying Dutchman Tribute before his $7,166 triumph in the Bubba 150.

Jeff Strunk of Boyertown, Pa. secured the lead on lap ten after a brief three driver battle for the top spot between himself, Ron Haring Jr. of Alburtis, Pa. and Jon Kellner of Lansdale, Pa., then raced home to the win in the 30-lap T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modified feature event becoming the first repeat feature winner of the season.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—As Stafford Speedway approached the historic milestone of its 700th different feature winner, few would have guessed that 20-year-old SK Light rookie Dean Lambros would be the one to etch his name into the record books. Entering the 2025 season, Lambros had made just three starts in the SK Light division, with a best finish of tenth. His racing background consisted mostly of go-karts, Legend Cars with the Korner family and CJ D’Addario of 860 Motorsports, and a handful of races in formula-style cars—hardly the typical résumé of a driver expected to reach Victory Lane so early in their modified career.
