Pocono Raceway Offers A Unique Challenge For The Xfinity Series

After an exciting international foray to Mexico, the NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to oval action with Saturday’s Explore the Pocono Mountains 250 (3:30 p.m. ET, The CW, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
As triumphant a day as it was for NASCAR Cup Series regular and hometown favorite Daniel Suarez to claim the trophy in Mexico City, it was a tough luck day for NASCAR Xfinity Series championship leader Justin Allgaier, who had trouble early in the race and finished 34th – the second finish of 30th or worst in the last four races for the season’s three-time winner.

RFK Racing Teams Up with Esperion for the Wellness Walk at Pocono
CONCORD, N.C. (June 17, 2025) – In its continued effort to promote heart health, RFK Racing partner Esperion will host a one-mile Wellness Walk at Pocono Raceway on Saturday, June 21, following the conclusion of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. Chris Buescher will lead the walk, which will take place on the front stretch and pit road.
Fans and attendees are invited to participate in the walk, encouraging the NASCAR community to take steps toward better cardiovascular health. The event is part of RFK Racing and Esperion’s shared commitment to raising awareness around heart wellness and supporting healthier lifestyles through simple, everyday actions.

MEXICO CITY – Shane van Gisbergen stood tall on the highest Victory Podium step, wearing a traditional Mexican sombrero and spraying champagne to celebrate his win in Sunday’s Viva Mexico 250 at the world-renowned Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City.

Justin Bonsignore Partners With TW Cable, LLC for Pocono Raceway NASCAR Xfinity Series Event
(June 12, 2025) – Four-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Justin Bonsignore announced today that he has partnered with TW Cable LLC to be the primary sponsor for his fifth NASCAR Xfinity Series event of the season with Joe Gibbs Racing at Pocono Raceway on June 21.

- Katherine Legge will compete in her second NASCAR Cup Series race this weekend in Mexico City, a place where she’s won before, albeit in a different car.
In a career in racing that spans more than 25 years, Katherine Legge has driven in dozens of races in all types of different machines.
Pick a car, any car, and the 44-year-old native of Surrey, England, has probably pressed her foot on that pedal as hard as she can. She’s maneuvered it around speedways and short tracks and road courses at dizzying speeds.
NASCAR Xfinity Series Is Set To Return To Mexico

The NASCAR Xfinity Series marks its return to Mexico with Saturday afternoon’s The Chilango 150 (4:30 p.m. ET on the CW Network, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio). The series has held four previous races at the famed Autodrome Hermanos Rodriquez – the last in 2008 won by Kyle Busch.
This is the second of seven road course races on the schedule. Series rookie, JR Motorsports’ Connor Zilisch won at Circuit of The Americas from pole position.
