The last name Earnhardt has coincided with NASCAR since its infancy. Jeffrey Earnhardt is the only driver with the legendary last name currently scheduled to compete in a national series event in 2025.
Earnhardt’s schedule consists of only three Xfinity Series races with Sam Hunt Racing, two of which have already passed, most recently finishing 19th last weekend at Nashville Superspeedway.

PORTLAND, Ore. (June 2, 2025) – Public ticket sales began today (June 2) at 10 a.m. PT for all multi-day tickets for two major August race events at Portland International Raceway (PIR) – the BITNILE.COM Grand Prix of Portland, featuring the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, and Pacific Office Automation 147, headlined by the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Jordan Mulach of Australia’s SpeedCafe reporting that (t)he Toyota Supra currently under development for the Supercars Championship is set to keep the nameplate alive in Australia during a “gap” following the end of production for the A90 model.

It’s been three races since a NASCAR Xfinity Series full-timer celebrated in Victory Lane this season so there’s plenty of motivation on the grid for Saturday night’s Tennessee Lottery 250 at Nashville Superspeedway (7:30 p.m. ET on CW Network, PRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
Mexico will have a local representative in the most anticipated NASCAR Xfinity Series weekend of the year. Young driver Andrés Pérez de Lara has been confirmed to compete on Saturday, June 14, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in the highly awaited race, “The Chilango 150.”
The 20-year-old Mexican driver will be one of the standout figures in the return after a 17-year absence of the Xfinity Series to Mexico City. A full-time competitor in the NASCAR Truck Series, Andrés will take advantage of a break in his schedule to race in front of his home crowd on the track where he grew up as an athlete.

Jeb Burton has never lacked confidence. Since bursting onto the NASCAR scene more than a decade ago, he’s always felt he could get the job done.
“I probably get more frustrated than anybody because I know that I can win at any of these tracks if my car will allow me to do it,” Burton told NASCAR.com last weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. “Sometimes, it’s tough to know that we’re not there yet.”
