Zilisch To Drive No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet in Atlanta & Watkins Glen Cup Races
Concord, North Carolina – Trackhouse Racing announced today that 18-year-old Connor Zilisch will drive the No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet in NASCAR Cup Series races at Atlanta Motor Speedway on June 28 and the road course at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International on Aug. 10.

After hard contact with the inside wall during a late wreck at Talladega Superspeedway on April 26, Connor Zilisch missed the following NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway, citing lower back issues.
The good news? A healthy Zilisch will return to action in Saturday’s BetMGM 300 (4:30 p.m. ET on CW, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
Blues Hog to Join Zilisch, JR Motorsports on the No. 88 Chevrolet
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 7, 2025) – JR Motorsports today announced that Blues Hog, the multi-time world champion barbecue competitors, will join the organization as the primary partner for Connor Zilisch and the No. 88 Chevrolet for three NASCAR Xfinity Series events in 2025, beginning with Texas Motor Speedway on May 3. From there, the No. 88 Blues Hog Chevrolet will hit the track at Nashville Superspeedway on May 31, followed by Atlanta Motor Speedway on June 27.

Zilisch Set for COTA Cup Debut; Sights on Youngest Cup Winner Record

At just 18 years old, Connor Zilisch is set to make his NASCAR Cup Series debut this weekend in the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas. Trackhouse Racing’s young phenom racer, who won in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut a season ago, says he feels more confident in driving the NASCAR Cup Series car than he did the Xfinity car.
“Honestly, I feel like the cup car is more like what I’m used to,” Zilisch said in a Tuesday media availability. “You know, racing, sports cars, I’ve run a sequential gearbox in a TA car, and MX5 Cup car. You know, I think the build of the car is a lot more like I’m used to. It’s a stiffer platform, it’s an independent rear suspension.
