PALA, Calif.— Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Haiden Deegan launched his 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship campaign with a commanding performance at the Fox Raceway National, sweeping both 250 Class motos to secure the overall victory at his home track in Southern California.
“Same goal as last season: go 1-1 and set the standard,” Deegan stated post-race. “It’s always special to win here at home, and this is the momentum we need heading into the rest of the season.”
Deegan, the reigning 250 Pro Motocross Champion and 250SX West Supercross titleholder, marks his third career sweep at Fox Raceway. With this victory, Deegan not only leads the 250 Class standings but also extends his advantage in the combined SuperMotocross World Championship standings. He now holds a six-point lead over Jo Shimoda in the outdoor series and a 47-point lead over Julien Beaumer in the SuperMotocross standings.
The 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship continues this Saturday, May 31, with Round 2 at the Hangtown Motocross Classic in Rancho Cordova, California.
