SLINGER – The hard work earlier made Ty Majeski’s latest Slinger Nationals victory look easy.
The defending NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion from Seymour dominated a rain-interrupted race July 8 at Slinger Speedway, leading the final 133 of 200-laps around the tricky quarter-mile.
How did Ty Majeski win the 46th Slinger Nationals?
Majeski, the fastest qualifier, started 12th, quickly climbed into the top five and was sitting second to Johnny Sauter when rain interrupted the race 60 laps in. Seven laps later he took a lead he would never relinquish.
