Patrick Emerling Running 3rd RSS Racing Car in NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Race at Daytona

Patrick Emerling, from Long Island, NY, will compete in the season-opening NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Daytona International Speedway for RSS Racing, the team announced Feb. 9.

Emerling will be behind the wheel of the team’s No. 38 Chevrolet, joining the organization’s two full-time entries driven by brothers Ryan and Kyle Sieg.

The Orchard Park, N.Y., native has driven for several teams during the course of the last few seasons, most recently on a part-time basis for SS-Green Light Racing.

RSS’ third car returns to the No. 38 after the team used the No. 29 in 2025.

In nine starts last season, Emerling scored a 10th-place finish in the season opener at Daytona driving SSGLR’s No. 07, while also recording four top-20 finishes.
