Nashville, TN — Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is set to close out its 2025 quarter-mile season this Saturday with Quarter Mile Championship Saturday, featuring championship-deciding events across all local divisions. At least six feature races will highlight an action-packed afternoon as the track’s top drivers battle for titles in their respective classes.
Event Date: Saturday, November 22
Raindate: Sunday, November 23 (same schedule)
The Bandoleros will lead off the day with one of the strongest storylines of the season. Murfreesboro’s Landon Thrasher enters the weekend seeking his second straight Bandolero championship after sweeping all four feature events in 2025. Thrasher also leads the Young Lion Legends standings, putting him in position to claim two division titles on Saturday. He carries a 25-point advantage over second-place Lucas Harrison into the finale.
The tightest championship battle of the afternoon belongs to the Limited Late Models, where Nashville drivers Nicholas Formosa and Johnathan Dishman are separated by just one point. Dishman leads the division with two feature wins, while Formosa gained crucial momentum by winning the most recent event to take over the point lead.
In the Pure Stocks, Murfreesboro’s Phillip McCord looks to complete a dominant season, having won three of the four events to date. McCord holds a 27-point advantage over last year’s champion John Bradley, positioning him strongly for the 2025 title.
Just two points separate the top two in the Pest Doctor Front Runners division, where Nashville’s Ray Gann aims to secure his second straight championship. Gann and challenger Randall Waterston each have two feature wins this season, setting up a finale that could come down to the final laps. Matt Hamlett, just 10 points back, remains in contention.
In the Masters/Pro class, Franklin’s Michael Crafton leads the standings following a standout season with three wins in four points events. Crafton, who won the Semi-Pro championship from 2022–2024, moved up to Masters/Pro in 2025 and has continued his winning ways. He holds a 22-point advantage over multi-time track champion Oliver Cordell.
Goodlettsville’s Dylan Faulkner leads the Semi-Pro division heading into Saturday, powered by four top-five finishes in as many starts, including one feature win. Faulkner carries a 22-point lead over Nashville’s Bradley Swift into the finale.
The Young Lion division is also led by Murfreesboro’s Landon Thrasher. In addition to his Bandolero success, Thrasher has scored two top-five finishes in four Young Lion starts and sits fourth in the combined Legends standings. He enters Saturday with an 11-point lead over Greenwood, Indiana’s Max Olmstead II.
