Shane van Gisbergen, Trackhouse Racing Announce Multiyear Contract Extension

CONCORD, N.C. – What began as a one-off PROJECT91 race in 2023, continued as a successful Xfinity Series campaign in 2024 and turned into a record-breaking NASCAR Cup Series run in 2025, will continue for years to come as Shane van Gisbergen and Trackhouse Racing today announced a multiyear contract extension.
Van Gisbergen became the winningest foreign-born driver in NASCAR history this year when the Auckland, New Zealand native won three Cup Series races, pushing his total to four victories in just 37 career races.
(Friday’s) agreement will keep the former V8 Supercars driver at Trackhouse Racing.
Isabella Robusto Returns To Springfield IL Mile Aiming For Win
Springfield, IL August 8, 2025-Twenty-year old Isabella Robusto returns for her sophomore run at the ARCA Menard’s Allen Crowe 100 Sunday, August 17 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The South Carolina resident nearly became the first female winner of a major auto racing event on the Springfield Mile in 2024 when she started 19th and finished 2nd driving for the Venturini Team. She returns in 2025 chasing an ARCA title, currently fifth in points after twelve events with 8 top 10 finishes. She also pairs with the Venturini team in 2025 and will be one of the challengers, if not favorites to capture the Allen Crowe 100.
Road-Course Master Van Gisbergen Captures Watkins Glen Victory

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. – Shane Van Gisbergen claimed his fourth NASCAR Cup Series road course victory of the season Sunday afternoon and second win of more than 10-seconds on the field … and he made it look effortless.
The 36-year-old New Zealander led a race-best 38 of 90 laps – including the final 17 – at the historic Watkins Glen International in picturesque upstate New York, his No. 88 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet officially crossing the finish line by 11.116-seconds ahead of Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell.
Zilisch Captures Second Consecutive Xfinity Series Win; Transported To Hospital Following Victory Lane Fall

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. – It was as hard-earned a victory as the 19-year old Connor Zilisch has claimed in his brief NASCAR career – answering his win from pole position a year ago in his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at the historic Watkins Glen International road course with a second consecutive victory Saturday afternoon in a crash-heavy Mission 200 at The Glen.
As Zilisch climbed out of the cockpit and onto the door ledge of his No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet to celebrate his series-best sixth trophy of the season, he slipped and fell to the ground. Medical teams arrived immediately to tend to him and transported him on a backboard to the trackside medical center.

Tickford Racing Could Field NASCAR Star In Adelaide Supercars Race

Motorsport’s Phil Branagan is reporting that 2022 Daytona 500 winner Austin Cindric may be in line for a race in the 2025 Supercars Championship with Tickford Racing.
Tickford Racing is pursuing a wildcard entry at the final round of the 2025 Supercars Championship in Adelaide in November, which could see it run a yet-to-be-named NASCAR Cup driver.

Richard Childress Racing Race Preview: Watkins Glen International
Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series at Watkins Glen International… The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Watkins Glen International this weekend for the Go Bowling at The Glen, marking the 42nd Cup Series appearance at the 2.45-mile road course. Richard Childress Racing boasts two NASCAR Cup Series wins among eight top-five finishes, 23 top-10 finishes and three poles, having led 275 laps. Robby Gordon won the 2003 event, leading the final 30 laps and scoring his third victory with RCR over the span of three seasons. Kevin Harvick captured the 2006 race, edging Tony Stewart for the victory, and claiming his first win at Watkins Glen. The victory was Harvick’s first on a road course and came in his 200th career Cup start. Dale Earnhardt won three poles (1990, 1992, 1996) for the Welcome, N.C.-based organization. Last year at The Glen, Austin Dillon started 23rd and finished 28th, while Kyle Busch began the race 13th and finished 30th.
