Goin’ Back to Cali: Rick Ware Racing Returns to West Coast After Team Owner’s Induction Into West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (July 10, 2025) – A diverse motorsports career that began more than 40 years ago and continues to this day earned racing team owner and California native Rick Ware a place in the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Induction took place back in March in conjunction with the NASCAR Cup Series’ visit to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but this Sunday’s race at Sonoma Raceway marks Ware’s first trip to the Sunshine State since being honored amongst his West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame Class of 2025 counterparts, which included AJ Allmendinger (Los Gatos, California), Chuck Gurney (Oakland, California), Davey Hamilton (Nampa, Idaho), Jeff Jefferson (Naches, Washington), Justin Marks (Menlo Park, California) and Boris Said (Carlsbad, California).

Here’s How Northeast Drivers Performed On The Streets Of Chicago And With The Indy Cars At Mid-Ohio
Shane Van Gisbergen swept the weekend, winning the Cup Race and the Xfinity race with ease.
Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in seventh, and Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished in 11th.
In the Xfinity race, Thomas Annunziata of New Jersey came in 17th.   Boston’s Kaz Grala placed 22nd, and Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT ended up 36th.
The Indy Cars were in action at Mid-Ohio where Scott Dixon won that one with Woodbury, CT’s Santino Ferrucci ending his day in 16th place.

CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA — Trackhouse Racing’s founder and owner Justin Marks will drive the team’s No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet NASCAR Cup Series entry at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed July 10-13.

The annual motorsport event held at Goodwood House in West Sussex, England, celebrates car culture. It displays a wide array of vehicles, from vintage classics to modern supercars, Formula 1 machines, and innovative prototypes. NASCAR has taken an increased role in recent years, with a variety of drivers, cars and teams making the trek across the Atlantic Ocean.
