  • BELL AT BRISTOL: Christopher Bell’s best NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) Bristol finish came in the night race last year where he qualified on the pole, led 187 laps and finished third. Overall, Bell has earned two top-five and four top-10 finishes at Bristol. The Oklahoma native also has four NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) starts at Bristol, including a win in April 2019 and a runner-up finish in August 2018. Additionally, Bell has three NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series starts at BMS highlighted by a pole and two top-10 finishes.
  • BRISTOL DIRT WINNER: Bell won the dirt race at Bristol in April 2023. After starting fourth, he led the final 100 laps to take home the win.

BELL AT ATLANTA: Christopher Bell has one top-five and two top-10 finishes in his previous eight starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS). In the spring race this year Bell suffered damage from an incident early in the race, resulting in a 34th-place finish. Bell’s best finish of third came in the spring of 2023 at the 1.54-mile track.

BACK ON THE BOX: Crew chief Adam Stevens will return to the track this Sunday at Atlanta.

Outrageously Dependable for 33 Years and Counting: Interstate Batteries has 11 primary sponsorships on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule in 2024, a similar number of schemes to last year’s expanded presence among all four Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) Toyota Camry XSEs. Bell and Ty Gibbs have been slated for the majority of the Interstate Batteries races this season with eight primaries in all between the two drivers. Denny Hamlin piloted the Interstate Batteries machine for two races this season and Martin Truex Jr. once. Christopher Bell Outruns Ryan Blaney for Homestead Win

During the course of the race, Christopher Bell thought his chances of racing for a NASCAR Cup Series championship at Phoenix were slim or none. After just squeaking into points at the end of Stage 1 he was nowhere to be found by the end of Stage 2. Homestead was eating up tires and while there were multiple racing grooves, around the top was the best, plus you needed drive off of the corners to compete. Bell’s car was having none of that and Bell was in a sour mood.

Christopher Bell Rings In A Win On Bristol Dirt

I have never been a real fan of the Bristol dirt race but I have to say this was the best Cup race I have seen on the dirt. The crowd was still not “old Bristol” worthy but it was a decent show considering it was a bit chilly.

The race was not without incident and one of the cool things about the dirt is that cars that did a 360 could get themselves straightened up without a caution flag needing to be thrown.
