Pro Late Models Headline Big Family Night of Racing and Entertainment for Bass Tire Family Night
NASHVILLE, TN (August 1, 2025) — With only three race weekends remaining in the 2025 season, excitement is building for Bass Tire Family Night at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, coming up on Saturday, August 9. Headlined by a 100-lap feature for the Pro Late Models, the night promises high-speed thrills, family fun, and championship implications.

N. Woodstock, NH — A great crowd filed into White Mountain Motorsports Park Saturday night for the second round in the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series. The Kid’s Bike and Scooter giveaway also called in the kids and families to experience a fun night at the races!
The Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers got Saturday’s showcase off and running with Nate Hamblett taking off with the lead under the green flag. A stalemate battle for fourth between Logan Powers, Tyler Pepin, Matt Potter and Shane Sicard finally broke by the halfway point with Sicard running away to chase down Hamblett. Without the aid of a caution flag, Sicard could only settle for second with Nate Hamblett walking away for his second career Flying Tiger win with Luke Peters rounding out the podium.
Simon Chapman of SpeedCafe reports that in his second year of racing full-time in the United States, Shane van Gisbergen has his first oval win with victory in the Cook Out Summer Shootout season finale.
Van Gisbergen has been competing on and off in the Legend Cars with compatriot Scott McLaughlin and fellow NASCAR Cup Series racer Bubba Wallace.
The final weekend of July was to be a doubleheader at Riverhead Raceway, led by the Advance Auto Parts Night at the Races Saturday night followed the make-up of the June 7th program Sunday afternoon. However, mother nature had other ideas with a weather system moving over Long Island late Saturday into Sunday forcing track management to postpone Sunday action.
Riverhead Raceway has a unique way to break up your work week this Wednesday when they present an earth-shaking School Bus Demolition Derby and stock car racing program Wednesday evening July 30th. Joining the midweek madness are the INEX Legend Race Cars, INEX Bandoleros plus three exciting Enduro events who’ll add wall-to-wall excitement of their own variety.
One of the most beloved and iconic personalities of Riverhead Raceway & Figure Eight racing will be celebrated Saturday when the annual Two for TK Twin 9 Figure Eight features are presented as part of Advance Auto Parts Night at the Races program. The twin features are run in memory of “TK’ Tommy Kraft who spent his adult life competing in and promoting Figure Eight racing on Long Island. Tommy passed away in late July of 2023.

N. Woodstock, NH — The annual Midseason Championship extravaganza met the fans and teams of White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday with all six White Mountain divisions packing in for the double point showdown!
The Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division got Midseason Championships underway Saturday with Kiptyn Aldrich and Maddi Potter leading the class to green. Potter quickly took off with the race lead as Gracen Gorham, Owen Dupuis and Lucas Sidney began their climb from the back of the pack. Gorham was quickest to find open air, motoring into the lead by the halfway point and kept his foot to the firewall to beat out Lucas Sidney to the line with Dupuis rounding out the top three.

N. Woodstock, NH — The gates reopen at White Mountain Motorsports Park this Saturday night for one of the most important events of the summer schedule. Midseason Championships on Saturday, July 19 marks the halfway point in the season with double points on the lines for all divisions!
Quinny Welch is back where he feels most comfortable, atop the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Model standings. What Welch really wants though, is a win and what better way to get his first of the year than to stand tall as the Midseason Champion?! In fact, the top three in Late Model standings all remain winless this season, using consistency to make their way to the top.

Two-time and defending Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Modified champion John Beatty Jr. of Merrick scored his first victory of the 2025 Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Saturday before a packed house at Riverhead Raceway. Beatty, who came to Saturday’s race with a 28-point cushion in the championship chase furthered that advantage with his 14th career win, becoming the fifth winner in as many NASCAR Modified races at Riverhead this season.
