West Haven, VT – The great crate place treated a packed house with twin 20’s for the Sunoco Sportsman Modifieds at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. Jimmy Davis made his return to victory lane winning the first event, while Don Mattison earned the second twin win. Hunter Nutter (Limited Sportsman), Steve Miller (Rookie Sportsman), Lane Saville (500cc Mini Sprint), Chris Sumner (Mini Stock), and Chris Murray (Super Stock) also earned victories this past Saturday night. West Haven, VT – Tim LaDuc seems to like money. He backed up his season opening $3,000 win with a $5,000 victory in the 2022 edition of the Northeast Crate Nationals Sunday evening with a late race pass on Elmo Reckner in a crowd pleasing 100-lap Memorial Weekend event.
West Haven, VT – Justin Stone had an eventful path to victory lane Saturday night at Devil’s Bowl, but when the checkered fell on the 30-lap Sportsman Modified feature event he kept victory lane celebrations a family affair. West Haven, VT – Devil’s Bowl Speedway kicked off the 2022 racing season featuring a $3,000 to win 30-lap main event where defending Sportsman Modified track champion Tim Laduc parked it on the front stretch claiming the big win. WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway is already prepared for the 2022 dirt track racing season to start. The historic Vermont track has announced the event lineup for its 56th season, which will once again run primarily on Saturday nights, from May 7 to September 24. In addition to the schedule, Devil’s Bowl promoter Mike Bruno officially announced the creation of a new “Rookie Sportsman” division to be added to the weekly lineup. (more…)

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Tim LaDuc needed a perfect storm to brew over Devil’s Bowl Speedway to have a chance at the 2021 Sportsman Modified track championship, and the clouds showed up at exactly the right time. WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Tim Fuller winning a big race is nothing new, but the way he did it in the “Slate Valley 100” at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, September 26, was a bit of a surprise. The former Super DIRTcar Series champion stormed past dirt Modified hotshot Matt Sheppard and ran away from everyone to pocket $10,000 in the early-autumn special. The veteran dirt Modified racer from Orwell, Vt., grabbed his second win of the season on Heritage Family Credit Union “Member Night” and is now in the hunt for his first track championship in 21 years. WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Zach Sobotka was already having a dream weekend when he arrived at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on the morning of Sunday, September 5, and he headed home with an even bigger highlight and a huge paycheck. The 26-year-old opened his Labor Day holiday weekend by winning at Brewerton (N.Y.) Speedway and clinching that track’s Sportsman Modified championship on Friday night, and he wrapped it up by capturing the Fabian Earth Moving Vermont 200 and pocketing $12,942 in winnings on Sunday.
