ARCA Menards Series Joins NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Weekend at Lime Rock Park
First-ever Connecticut event for ARCA as LRP NASCAR event gains even more traction
LAKEVILLE, Conn. (27 September 2024) — Lime Rock Park is thrilled to announce that the ARCA Menards Series will join the highly anticipated NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series weekend slated for June 27-28, 2025, amplifying the excitement for motorsports fans as Lime Rock Park becomes the ultimate destination for stock car racing in the Northeast next summer.
For the first time in the series’ history, Lime Rock Park will host the ARCA Menards Series, which was first formed in 1953. The ARCA Menards Series has a long history of developing rising stars in the sport, but the Lime Rock Park event will mark the first-ever time that the championship has staged a race in Connecticut. RCR Race Preview: Kansas Speedway
Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series at Kansas Speedway… In 104 NASCAR Cup Series starts at Kansas Speedway, Richard Childress Racing has one win (Kevin Harvick, 2013) along with five top-five and 29 top-10 finishes. The victory was Harvick’s first at the Midwest intermediate track and came in dominating fashion after winning the pole and leading the most laps in the race. RCR owns three pole positions at Kansas: Harvick (2013), Daniel Hemric (2019) and Tyler Reddick (2022).
RCR in the Xfinity Series at Kansas… RCR has one NASCAR Xfinity Series victory at Kansas: Kevin Harvick in 2006. Harvick, who led twice for 18 laps, would go on to win the 2006 series title with RCR, the second of his career. The Welcome, N.C., based organization has three poles at Kansas by three different drivers: Austin Dillon (2013), Ty Dillon (2014) and Daniel Hemric (2018). In 2023, both RCR drivers scored top-five finishes at Kansas: Sheldon Creed (third) and Austin Hill (fifth).

Layne Riggs stunned the entire Craftsman Truck Series garage when he took over the final 53 laps of the opening Round of 10 race at The Milwaukee Mile to claim his breakthrough win in NASCAR national series competition by 1.547 seconds.

Hailie Deegan Joins Nitrocross field for Utah
Hailie Deegan will race in next weekend’s Nitrocross event at Utah Motorsports Campus, returning to the series for the first time since 2021.
Deegan will compete in the Side-by-Side class in a field that also includes Lucy, Mika, and Kira Block – the wife, son, and daughter of Ken Block – and Travis Pastrana, invoking memories of the early days of U.S. rallycross where Block Sr., Pastrana, and Hailie’s father Brian all competed. (more…)

Motor Speedway with Landen Lewis, team principal Jason Kitzmiller returns to the seat set to take the checkered flag on the team’s limited season schedule in Friday night’s Reese’s 150 at Kansas Speedway.
