ARCA Menards Series Joins NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Weekend at Lime Rock Park

First-ever Connecticut event for ARCA as LRP NASCAR event gains even more traction

LAKEVILLE, Conn. (27 September 2024) — Lime Rock Park is thrilled to announce that the ARCA Menards Series will join the highly anticipated NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series weekend slated for June 27-28, 2025, amplifying the excitement for motorsports fans as Lime Rock Park becomes the ultimate destination for stock car racing in the Northeast next summer.

For the first time in the series’ history, Lime Rock Park will host the ARCA Menards Series, which was first formed in 1953. The ARCA Menards Series has a long history of developing rising stars in the sport, but the Lime Rock Park event will mark the first-ever time that the championship has staged a race in Connecticut.

The ARCA race will see nearly 40 entries take to the 1.53-mile circuit to race on Saturday, paired with the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series feature.

“The addition of the ARCA Menards Series to the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series weekend at Lime Rock Park enhances what is already shaping up to be an extraordinary event,” said Lime Rock Park President Dicky Riegel. “This is a fantastic opportunity for fans to experience two incredible series in one unforgettable weekend, and it further solidifies Lime Rock Park as a premier racing destination.”

ARCA was founded in 1953 by John and Mildred Marcum in Toledo, Ohio, and acquired by NASCAR in April 2018, and is the leading grassroots stock car sanctioning body in the United States. Bridging the gap between NASCAR’s top three national touring series and weekly and regional tour racing all across the country, the organization sanctions over 100 races per year in the ARCA Menards Series, ARCA Menards Series East, ARCA Menards Series West, ASA STARS National Tour, ASA CRA Super Series, ASA Midwest Tour, ASA Southern Super Series plus weekly racing at Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways.

Lime Rock Park, which has been a staple in American motorsports since 1957, has a long history of hosting high-profile racing events. From its iconic Memorial Day Trans Am weekend to its renowned Historic Festival, the track’s rich history will continue to grow with the arrival of ARCA and NASCAR in 2025. As part of preparations, Lime Rock Park will undergo a range of facility upgrades, including pit lane extensions and additional safety enhancements, ensuring that the venue is ready to host the best in motorsports.

The full 2025 Lime Rock Park schedule will be announced in the fall. Ticket and camping information will be released as it becomes available. For more information, visit http://www.limerock.com
