Yesterday (Thursday), South Florida Motorsports (SFM), Miami Dolphins, and the City of Miami Gardens gifted 50 students with tickets to the Formula 1® Miami Grand Prix happening next month. The students were surprised by Miami Gardens’ Mayor, Rodney Harris.
STAMFORD, Conn. – April 7, 2022 – The 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season continues with live coverage of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach in California this Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. A post-race show will be presented immediately following race coverage featuring driver interviews, analysis and the podium ceremony at approximately 5:30 p.m. ET. It’s official—Formula 1 is heading to Las Vegas in 2023.
The Las Vegas race will give the United States three Grands Prix, joining races in Miami and Austin, Texas. The street race will incorporate some of Las Vegas’ world-renowned landmarks and one section of track will be along the famous Strip of Las Vegas Blvd., between the hotels and casinos, and alongside the Bellagio Fountain. One week after a record-setting audience watched the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship season opener on ESPN, the viewership for Sunday’s live telecast of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix surpassed the week-old record as ESPN’s largest F1 audience since 1995 and the largest on any ESPN network since it returned to the sport in 2018. Ryan Bartlett could not have been happier when he won his first Indoor Auto Racing Series TQ Midget victory inside the New York State Fairgrounds Exposition Center on Saturday, March 12. On Friday, March 25, the veteran dirt Modified driver from Watertown, N.Y. couldn’t have been more disappointed after Indoor Auto Racing Series officials notified him by phone that he was disqualified for a tire that failed a post-race test.
