The 25-year-old just traveled more than 1600 miles to get behind the wheel of C-Buck Motorsports black and orange #74 Silver Crown Race Car for one hundred wild action-packed laps of racing. The 19th running of the Sumar Classic in Terre Haute, Indiana takes place Thursday night, and replaces the legendary Hoosier 100, one of the longest running and beloved races held leading up to the Indianapolis 500.

In a “wreckers to checkers” storybook ending, Matt Merry left Claremont Speedway last fall on a “double hook” with a badly damaged race car, and last weekend returned to LEE USA Speedway to capture his first ever feature event victory. In the Lites division, Jake Trainor drove the Seymour 29 to an impressive victory over the field, winning by nearly 3 seconds.

Just two points separate leader Brett Kressley from challenger Craig Von Dohren in the chase for the lucrative NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series T.P.Trailers Modified point title at Grandview Speedway. With the help of two wins Kressley has 1411 points while defending champion, 11 times in fact, Craig Von Dohren has 1409 counters and has done it without benefit of a win but has had consistent performances.
