The phrase “argy bargy” was on display with more car-to-car contact than you’ll see in a month of Saturday nights at your local short track. But there were some popular podium finishers, championship shakeups aplenty and some emotional victors in the Motul SportsCar Grand Prix.

Connor Zilisch will pilot the No. 45 DQS Solutions & Staffing Chevrolet Silverado at Watkins Glen. Bayley Currey will serve as the driver for the remainder of the season beginning at Richmond. Phil Gould will remain as the crew chief, with no other personnel changes on the team.

ELKHART LAKE, Wisconsin – A convincing pole-winning performance by Russell Ward in the No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 on Saturday was the major factor in the Winward Racing team and drivers building their 2025 IMSA GT Daytona (GTD) championship leads despite a rough and tumble and largely frustrating race at Road America on Sunday. The top qualifying effort, which garnered 35 valuable championship points, was the fourth career and first pole of the season for Ward. The pole-winning effort returned the No. 57 team’s championship leads to more than 100 points with just three races remaining on the 2025 schedule.

Wiscasset Speedway returned to action on Saturday night with an action-packed Group 2 program that included the lightning-fast NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites.

The racing action kicked off with the first of two 30-lap features for the Portland Glass Strictly Streets. Brady Romano took off with the early lead, but trouble was on the horizon as Scott Eck and Landon Tapley collided, resulting in a caution. Romano remained strong on the restart but Ben Burgess was on the move, overtaking the lead on lap 10 as Joe Harriman followed in succession. Burgess maintained command following a mid-race restart, picking up his second win of the season in the division. Joe Harriman and Chuck Wagstaff (1st career podium) followed, completing the top 3.

N. Woodstock, NH — Thirty Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour Late Models entered the pits at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday afternoon and all thirty started the 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250. Former King of the Mountain track champion Kasey Beattie earned the pole in Plus/Minus qualifying with a +6 in heat three with eight-time ACT champion Brian Hoar to his outside. The two battled hard at the onset before Beattie took off with the lead in the early goings. The lap 100 fuel stop quickly gave way to a mad dash to the pit area for fresh Hoosier Racing Tires with Beattie, Nick Sweet, Bryan Mason and Hoar opting to stay out and play the strategy game.
