The race celebrates the life of longtime Bill Park team member Bob “Bubba” Patanjo, a revered member of the Riverhead racing family who passed away suddenly in October 0f 2019.

After setting the original Late Model car count record of thirty-three for Chaudiere back in 2019, matching it again last year, thirty-six Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour pilots invaded the Beauce oval for the Claude Leclerc 150.
Three rounds of qualifying whittled the thirty-six prospects down to thirty starters for the big dance Saturday afternoon with St-Denis’ Patrick Laperle earning the pole position with an incredible +5 in Plus/Minus handicap procedures with Quebec City’s William Larue, running the #46VT livery for Brian Hoar, set up alongside with a +2.

(May 21, 2025) – While NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Larson is attempting “The Double” this weekend, traveling between Indianapolis and Charlotte to race for 1,100 miles in one day, his charitable foundation is working on a double of its own – this time with Team Chevy drivers across both NASCAR and INDYCAR. The Kyle Larson Foundation announced today that it will once again partner with Chevrolet and Pristine Auction, and with the generous donation of race shields from 48 Team Chevy drivers from the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and INDYCAR, will raise funds for the Philadelphia-based Urban Youth Racing School. Wiscasset Speedway closed out their 2024 points season on Saturday and celebrated by hosting their biggest Strictly Street race of the year; the Strictly Shootout presented by Thayer’s Automotive. With a guaranteed $600 winner’s payout and thousands of dollars of contingency prizes on the line, 40 drivers showed up to shoot their shot at making it into the big dance.
The racing action kicked off with three extended 12-lap heat races for the Strictly Shootout, where the top 6 drivers from each qualifier would advance into the big show. Dan Brown, Dan McKeage, Jr. and Landon Tapley won these heats while heavy hitters like Jordan Russell, Nate Leavitt, Zack Emerson and others were forced into consolation races.
