JOCKEY MADE IN AMERICA 250 NASCAR CUP SERIES RACE SET FOR ROAD AMERICA JULY 4
ELKHART LAKE, Wis., May 12, 2021 – Jockey International, a 145-year-old brand recognized for its premium underwear and apparel, has signed on to be the title sponsor of the NASCAR Cup Series race at Road America on the Fourth of July. This year’s race will be known as the Jockey Made in America 250 presented by Kwik Trip. The green flag will fly on the event at approximately 1:30 pm CST, and the race will be aired LIVE on NBC.

Brian Brown Delivers Emotional Street Stock May Meltdown Win For Car Owner Rob Bader Sunday At Riverhead Raceway
During the off season former Blunderbust driver Rob Bader wanted to return grassroots racing in 2021 and during the winter went out and got a Street Stock for competition at Riverhead Raceway. Among the goals Rob set was for the car to be a tribute to his late Uncle Jay Hulse former Charger driver. Then unexpected wrist surgery put Rob on injured list but undaunted he tabbed good friend Brian Brown of Riverhead to steer the car in Sunday’s May Meltdown event and in a storybook finish Brown delivered an emotional win for Bader and his family. NASCAR Xfinity Series News & Notes – Off Weekend
Time was of the essence on Saturday as a thunderstorm was barreling toward Talladega Superspeedway in the middle of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. The competition was fierce but as the skies opened up, it was Kaulig Racing’s Jeb Burton that was able to hold onto the lead just before the final caution came out before the race was red-flagged and ultimately called because of weather securing his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series win. Brad Keselowski Ties Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon With Sixth Talladega Win
Brad Keselowski led the most important lap at Talladega, the final one. In a wild, pitched battle for the win, Keselowski got a huge push from Michael McDowell and Kevin Harvick to eke out his 6th Talladega win over Matt DiBenedetto. DiBenedetto (P5) once again came up just short for his first ever Cup win after leading 28 laps and “winning” Stage 1.
