Modified And Sportsman Double Program This Saturday At Grandview Speedway, Gular And Hirthler Are Early Point Leaders
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – After an exciting opening last Saturday, Grandview Speedway is ready to present the second weekend of racing for the new season.
This Saturday, April 15 will see a two-division program of racing under the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series banner for the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman. Each division will run qualifying races leading to the 30-lap Modified and 25-lap Sportsman man events. Race time on Saturday night is 6 pm. Pit gates open at 3 pm, grandstand gates open at 4 pm, followed by warm-ups at 5 pm. (more…)

Mechanical Failure Sidelines Doug Coby Early at Martinsville Speedway
MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Doug Coby was running comfortably inside the top-10 when a mechanical failure suddenly forced him to pull into the garage early on Thursday at Martinsville Speedway.
Competing in the season-finale for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, Coby wheeled the Mayhew Tools No. 10 and ran around the top-10 for the beginning stages of the race.
Goodale & Catalano Bring Early Season WMT Championship Tussle To Riverhead Raceway
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour resumes action at a familiar venue resuming after a five week hiatus returning to action for the Miller Lite 200 Saturday night May 14th at Riverhead Raceway. Two Empire state drivers that live at opposite ends of the state, Eric Goodale of Riverhead and Tommy Catalano of Ontario, NY will come to the Miller Lite 200 tied for the early season WMT championship lead. Steve Letarte Believes William Byron Was Promoted Too Early
William Byron has been in the NASCAR scene since 2015. Still, it seems that his career has been pretty much fast-tracked. He debuted in the Truck Series in 2015, with a full-time debut in 2016. A year later, he had his full-time Xfinity Series debut, grabbing four wins and the title. Then in 2018, he moved up once again, this time to the Cup Series, and has been racing there ever since. Interestingly, according to former Hendrick Motorsports crew chief Steve Letarte from Cornish, ME, the 24-year-old may have moved too early.
