Over the first 115-laps of the Miller Lite 200 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at Riverhead Raceway Saturday a combination of Tom Rogers Jr. of Riverhead, Dave Brigati of Calverton and Kyle Soper of Manorville showed the way. For awhile it appeared Ed Brunnhoelzl Jr. who was the last Riverhead regular to win a WMT race in 1995 would witness that 26-year mark erased. Then the second half of the race unfolded with WMT championship contender Patrick Emerling of Orchard Park, NY taking the lead on lap 116 from Soper to score the victory. (more…)
WINCHESTER, N.H. — Strategy was the name of the game in the fourth round of the Tri Track Open Modified Series season at Monadnock Speedway on Saturday, August 14. While Chase Dowling started his day at the back of his qualifying heat and the 100-lap feature, the end of the 100-lap special sponsored by Wonder Casino saw him park the No. 9 Start Finish Motorsports machine in Victory Lane.
Waterbury, VT — For the first time in three years, the American-Canadian Tour is coming to New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway. The Lee USA 150 this Sunday, May 16 at 2:00pm is part of a showdown featuring three of the region’s top touring series.

Just two points separate leader Brett Kressley from challenger Craig Von Dohren in the chase for the lucrative NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series T.P.Trailers Modified point title at Grandview Speedway. With the help of two wins Kressley has 1411 points while defending champion, 11 times in fact, Craig Von Dohren has 1409 counters and has done it without benefit of a win but has had consistent performances.
