Race Of Champions Management Continues To Announce “Save-The-Date” Opportunities As Fans Build Their 2026 Race Calendar
Williamson, NY (January 26, 2026) — Race of Champions management is pleased to announce it will once again lease Spencer Speedway for six (6) events during the 2026 season at the Route 104, half-mile speedplant.
Opening night is scheduled for Friday, May 22, followed by additional events on Friday, June 5; Friday, July 10; Friday, July 31; Friday, August 14; and Friday, September 4, 2026. An open practice is tentatively planned for Friday, May 15.
Dylan Slepian Ends 3-Year Riverhead Raceway Drought With Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 Victory
Dylan Slepian of Dix Hills ended a three-year dry spell for he and car owner Rob Pelis Saturday night at Riverhead Raceway as he drove to victory in the annual Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 NASCAR Modified event. (Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway’s Street Stock division took center stage on Friday, June 27 with their lone extra distance feature event of the 2025 season, the Midstate Site Development 30. PJ Evans was the big winner of the night, scoring his first career Stafford Speedway feature victory in the biggest Street Stock event of the season, the MSD 30. Evans became the 701st different feature winner in Stafford history just after Dean Lambros notched his first career Stafford feature victory in the SK Light feature and became the 700th different winner. Other feature winners on the night were Michael Christopher, Jr., who drove to his third consecutive SK Modified® feature win of the season, Kevin Gambacorta in the Late Model feature, and Devon Jencik in the Limited Late Model feature.

Mitch Evans Wins Thrilling Sao Paulo Season Opener in ABB FIA Formula E World Championship
Season 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship commenced today with a thrilling spectacle at São Paulo’s Sambadrome circuit. The race saw Mitch Evans (Jaguar TCS Racing) claim victory having started from the back of the grid. Perry, NY – (October 7, 2024) – Joe Evans of Holland, NY, started 9th, patiently worked his way through the field, took the lead late in the 75-lap feature and went on to win the Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series portion of the traditional “Fall Shootout” at Wyoming County International Speedway “The Bullring” in Perry, NY, this past Saturday.
It was Evans first Series victory and it made him the 9th different winner for the 2024 season.
