Joe Evans, Joe Mancuso, Russ Bulger, Jr And Jeana Dietz Race To “Fall Shootout” Victory At Wyoming County International Speedway “The Bullring” This Past Saturday

Perry, NY – (October 7, 2024) – Joe Evans of Holland, NY, started 9^th, patiently worked his way through the field, took the lead late in the 75-lap feature and went on to win the Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series portion of the traditional “Fall Shootout” at Wyoming County International Speedway “The Bullring” in Perry, NY, this past Saturday.

It was Evans first Series victory and it made him the 9^th different winner for the 2024 season.

2024 ISMA/MSS Supermodified Schedule Announced

The International Super Modified Association was founded in 1974 by multi-time Oswego Speedway champions Jim Shampine and Nolan Swift to ensure the future and longevity of supermodified racing. Over the past weekend during the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series event at Riverhead Raceway, track owners Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz announced that Chuck Steuer of Bohemia and Keith “Flash” Gordon of Miller Place will be inducted onto the Cromarty Wall of Champions Saturday evening June 17th. The inductions of the two soft spoken drivers, both multi time track champions proceed the annual Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 Memorial for the NASCAR Modifieds.

Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 Set For Riverhead Raceway Saturday

After a two week, mid-season vacation the NASCAR Modifieds of the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series return to Riverhead Raceway in a big way Saturday July 30th competing in the annual Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77. The race will serve as the second leg of the Crown Jewel Series for the Ted Christopher Cup. The Class of ’22 will be inducted onto the Cromarty Wall of Champions with Rusty Turbush of Manorville and John Cozza of Medford the two inductees. (more…)
