After five sessions of NASCAR Modified testing was completed, 2002 track champion JR Bertuccio of Centereach was quickest on the day.

Kyle Larson won his first ever grandfather clock after leading just 30 laps. Larson flirted with the Top 10 most of the race but wasn’t in position enough to be considered a contender.
