PETERSBURG, Fla., (March 4, 2023) – The 2023 GT America Powered by AWS championship began this weekend in St. Petersburg, Florida, and Flying Lizard Motorsports closed out rounds one and two with driver Jason Bell and his Aston Martin Vantage GT4 earning one win and a second podium finish. PETERSBURG, Fla., (March 2, 2023) – The GT America Powered by AWS season starts this weekend in Florida at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, and Flying Lizard Motorsports will ring in the new season with two entries: hometown hero Jason Bell in the No. 2 Aston Martin Vantage GT4, and Andy Wilzoch in the No. 460 Porsche 911 GT3 R. N. Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) officials are excited to announce a new division partner for the famed Flying Tigers. Under the moniker as the ‘Number One Support Division in North America,’ the Flying Tigers have torn up Northern New England speedways since the early 1980s and have been a successful part of the White Mountain weekly line-up for over a decade. It was a magical night September 19th, 1992 at Riverhead Raceway with an ending not even the best Hollywood script writer could have ever imagined. Prior to the ’92 NASCAR Modified season at Riverhead Raceway, Harbach, then 55 announced that year would be the last of his storied 40 plus year driving career. In typical “Flying Dutchman” fashion Fred not only went out and won his final race but sewed 1992 NASCAR Modified championship to boot in his final race. (more…)
