(Stafford Springs, CT)— Stafford Speedway hosted the extra distance Monaco Ford SK Light Double Down along with Stafford Speedway’s other four weekly divisions as well as a kids big wheel race on Friday, July 11th.  Chris Matthews was the big winner of the night, capturing the 40-lap Monaco Ford SK Light Double Down feature for his second win of the 2025 season.  Mikey Flynn won the SK Modified® feature for his first win of 2025, Andrew Durand was a first-time 2025 winner in the Late Model feature, Kevin Cormier was another first time 2025 winner in the Limited Late Model feature, and Aaron Plemons was a winner for the third time this season in the Street Stock feature.

From Landon Thrasher’s dominant Bandolero win to Dylan Fetcho’s breathtaking three-wide, last-lap Pro Late Model victory, the evening featured a perfect blend of clean racing and edge-of-your-seat excitement. The Modifieds of Mayhem NashVegas 50 saw Cody Stickler continue his reign with a fourth straight Nashville win, while multiple local favorites found their way to victory lane in front of an energized Middle Tennessee audience.

Thompson, CT — Following two qualifying heat races, Jon McKennedy and Matt Swanson faced-off at the head of the Outlaw Open Modifieds in the Twisted Tea Midsummer 50. Ronnie Williams motored under Swanson to take second on lap ten but otherwise the top five remained in line to conserve to the end. The conservation came into play with the lap 39 spin and flat left-front tire for Glen Steger in turn four, with Williams and Chris Pasteryak electing to jump pitside to swap tires, front to rear on the right side.

Ste-Croix, QC & Barre, VT — Thirty three Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams made the trip to Circuit Ste-Croix for the Yvon Bedard 149 on Saturday, July 5 with young Eric Lehoux and veteran Dany Trepanier both forced to drop out with mechanical issues following the Friday practice day. While Saturday practice sessions went off without a hitch, rains moved in along the St. Lawrence River just before the 3:15pm Post Time to grind Saturday’s showcase to a halt.
