Riverhead Raceway Celebrating 30th Anniversary Of Fred Harbach’s 1992 Championship With The Flying Dutchman 90 Saturday June 4th
It was a magical night September 19th, 1992 at Riverhead Raceway with an ending not even the best Hollywood script writer could have ever imagined. Prior to the ’92 NASCAR Modified season at Riverhead Raceway, Harbach, then 55 announced that year would be the last of his storied 40 plus year driving career. In typical “Flying Dutchman” fashion Fred not only went out and won his final race but sewed 1992 NASCAR Modified championship to boot in his final race. (more…)

Chase Dowling Wins Inaugural Monaco Modified Tri-Track Stop at Thunder Road
BARRE, Vt. – The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series visited Barre, Vermont for the first time in history and Chase Dowling wasn’t going to be denied. The Roxbury, Connecticut, native captured the $10,000 winning prize in the Granite City 100 – passing for the lead with 48 laps to go and leading the remainder of the distance en route to Victory Lane.

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Teams, Jennerstown Late Models To Carry Fallen Heroes Names During Jennerstown Salutes
JENNERSTOWN, Pa. – For the second straight year, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour teams will carry the names of fallen heroes on the roof of their rides this weekend at Jennerstown Speedway. As part of the Jennerstown Salutes event, in collaboration with Operation Vet NOW Inc. (OVN), NASCAR and JDV Productions, all teams in the Modified field will be racing to honor a veteran.
