FORT WORTH, Texas (APRIL 11, 2025) – Six years after the blockbuster 1989 movie “Field of Dreams” debuted with the iconic line of “If you build it, he will come,” Speedway Motorsports founder Bruton Smith began the script on the motorsports version with a leading cast of his own.

New England Racers And Their Results From This Past Weekend’s Competition
Kyle Larson won the Cup race.  Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 20th and Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ended up 24th.  Not so fortunate was Corey LaJoie, who ended in the 34th position.  Corey is the son of Randy LaJoie of Norwalk, CT who earned two Xfinity Championships during his career.
Kyle Larson had another good day on Saturday as he won the Xfinity race.  Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 15th while Justin Bonsignore of LI, NY was 17th.
Chandler Smith won the Truck race.  Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA was tenth and Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT ended up14th .
Out on the west coast in Long Beach, CA, Kyle Kirkwood was the winner of the Indy Car race while Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT came in tenth.

There’s no doubt who the headliner will be in Friday’s Weather Guard Truck Race at Bristol Motor Speedway (7:30 p.m. ET on FS1, NRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series event is the first of a tripleheader weekend and the first in Kyle Larson’s quest to sweep all three national-series races at the 0.533-mile short track—a feat accomplished only by Kyle Busch in 2010 and 2017.
