WATERFORD — After finishing third in the Super X-car race at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl to wrap up his second straight Wild & Wacky Wednesday title, Ed Ryan Jr. was asked if the championship feeling had sunken in yet.

WATERFORD — Race drivers never actually retire —they keep waiting for one more great ride to come along.
After being idle since 2002, Bill Anderson obtained that great ride — an SK Modified owned by Billy “Bear” Calicchio of Berlin.
During Saturday’s 35-lap SK Modified feature at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl, Anderson demonstrated he still knew how to find the winner’s circle. (more…)

It was a good day Saturday for Austin Cindric who won the Xfinity Series race at the IMS road course.  It also was a bad day for Brett Moffit who was steering the Chris Our entry as he broke an axle on his mount and placed 31st.  Cape Cod’s Chris Our is a building contractor and resides in Harwich, MA.
