The battle for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship has reached its crescendo as Austin Beers and Justin Bonsignore settle the battle for the series championship during Thursday evening’s Virginia is for Racing Lovers 200 at Martinsville Speedway (7:30 p.m. ET on FloRacing).

Beers enters Thursday’s race with a 14-point advantage in the standings and needs only to finish eighth or better to claim the series championship regardless of what Bonsignore does. Bonsignore, however, is the defending winner at Martinsville and could turn the tide in his favor if things Beers stumbles at the 0.526-mile oval.

Thompson Speedway Hosts A Pivotal World Series 150 For The Modified Tour This Sunday

NASCAR Whelen Modified TourWith only two races remaining on the 2025 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour schedule, Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park welcomes back the series for the third and final time this year for Sunday’s World Series 150 (4:30 p.m. ET on FloRacing and The NASCAR Channel).

Just five races remain in the 2025 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season as the series returns to historic Oswego Speedway in New York for the running of the Toyota Mod Classic 150 this Saturday night (8 p.m. ET on FloRacing).

Saturday’s race marks the Modified Tour’s 18th visit to Oswego, with the first four visits occuring in 1988. Brian Ross captured the first two checkered flags at the track, with Mike McLaughlin and George Kent Jr. capturing the next two at the 0.625-mile oval.

Thompson, CT — An incredible flood of fans entered Thompson Speedway on Wednesday night for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour’s annual midweek Thompson 150 with plenty of magic in the air. Along with a much anticipated visit from Geoff Bodine and the original Big Red Machine #1 from his stellar 1978 campaign, the NASCAR touring teams battled in the Tour’s 750th event back where it all began in 1985.

After an extended break, the stars of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour are back in action Sunday with the running of the FaithFest Evangelistic Ministries 150 at North Wilkesboro Speedway (2 p.m. ET on FloRacing and The NASCAR Channel).

While the Modified Tour has raced on the same day or weekend at the same track as the NASCAR Cup Series before, this marks the first time the Tour has raced on the same day and same track as the NASCAR All Star Race.
