SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway has a packed weekend of excitement planned September 12-13, with drivers continuing their battle for the championship on both Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday. Concord, N.C., (September 6, 2025) Team Honda HRC Progressive’s Jett Lawrence kicked off the postseason with a victory at Playoff 1 of the 2025 SMX World Championship™. The two-moto format of the postseason was interrupted by lightening near the zMAX Dragway at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Both classes scored their overall results based solely on their first moto finishes due to the second motos being called because of continued lightening in the area and diminishing daylight. Jett Lawrence, the defending two-time SMX World Champion and recently-crowned 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Champion, led from start to finish in the single 20-mintue plus one lap 450SMX Class moto.

BRISTOL, Tenn. (Sept. 3, 2025) – With a little over a week remaining until the roar of NASCAR engines return to Bristol Motor Speedway for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race weekend, Sept. 11-13, track officials said Wednesday that the rebuild project following the MLB Speedway Classic in August is nearly complete. More than 200 workers from MLB and 100 BMS operations employees and contractors have been working non-stop since the final out of the historic MLB Speedway Classic to change the facility from a baseball stadium back into its normal setting of a world-class NASCAR venue.
