Tony Stewart went to the Stewart-Haas Racing shop a couple of weeks ago and saw as many people as he could a month before the team shuts down.

After a few days of waiting, NASCAR finally made an announcement as to what they are doing about Austin Dillon’s mad dash to the checkered flag at Richmond.
Essentially, Dillon can keep the win and the trophy, but NASCAR decided he went too far in his desire to get into the playoffs. His win will not count as an automatic berth into the playoffs and he and RCR lose 25 points.

After some fun at Pocono Raceway with only three turns, the NASCAR Xfinity Series will now head to Road America to give its 14-turn course a go for the Road America 180 on Saturday, July 29 at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, the NBC Sports App, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series will be taking on their fourth road course of the season this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course for the Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard on Saturday, July 30 at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC, IMS Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90) as the second event of a tripleheader weekend with the NTT IndyCar Series and the NASCAR Cup Series.
NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers will be kicking off the Fourth of July weekend at the 4.048-mile, 14-turn road course at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Saturday, July 2 at 2:30 p.m. ET for the Henry 180 on the USA Network, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR radio.
Thompson, CT — Berlin, CT’s Keith Rocco played a winning hand worth more than $20,000 by making a late charge to win the Thompson 300 on Sunday, October 10 at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. Rocco bounced back from a spin to take the lead from Jon McKennedy with 18 laps remaining in the event’s first edition since 2005 as part of the Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing. (more…)
