Busy Year Ahead Leads to Scheduling Adjustments for Local Late Model Events From Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour

Barre, VT —It was announced today by Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials that the 100-lap event for ACT legal Late Models originally scheduled for June 19 at Lee USA Speedway has been moved to Friday, August 7 to remove the scheduling conflict with the Keith Morse Memorial event at Riverside Speedway.

With the move, the Seacoast Late Model Challenge will still begin on Saturday, June 13 at Star Speedway followed by the Firecracker 100 at Lee USA Speedway on Friday, July 3. The Challenge will pick up with a second 100-lapper at Lee on Friday, August 7 before crowning the inaugural champion in the Don Francis Memorial 100 at Star on Saturday, August 15.

Barre, VT — After several weeks of planning, Officials with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour announced today the 2026 Schedule of Events for North America’s most historic Late Model touring series with 14 point-counting events on a fifteen-stop schedule. Along with the $60,000+ Milton CAT point fund and $20,000 champion’s share on the line, the 2026 schedule begins with ten stops at ten different facilities and features traditional marquee events for the international stars as well as several exciting changes to shake up the season!

ACT Forced to Cancel Ste-Croix Due to Town Permit Issue; Yvon Bedard 109 Moved to Friday, August 22 at Oxford Plains Speedway to Form New Doubleheader Showdown

ACT Yvon Bedard 109 moved to Oxford Plains Speedway — The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will now contest the Yvon Bedard 109 at Oxford Plains Speedway on Friday, August 22 for a doubleheader weekend as part of the 52nd Oxford 250 after Circuit Riverside Speedway could not receive permits for the original August 17 make-up. Barre, VT — In an unfortunate turn of events, the Municipality of Ste-Croix, Quebec informed the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) office that the Yvon Bedard 149 will not go on as rescheduled on August 17 at Circuit Riverside Speedway. Officials at the Speedway were unable to obtain permits for a rain date during the originally scheduled date on July 5.

With the current situation having been relayed to the ACT office through a series of lawyers and track officials over the past week, Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials have been hard at work to secure a new venue for the event. Newly minted as the Yvon Bedard 109, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will go green at Oxford Plains Speedway on Friday, August 22 to make a Friday/Saturday doubleheader as part of the 52nd All That’s Metal Oxford 250 weekend.

Following Rain-Out, Officials Confirm Sunday, August 17 for Ste-Croix Make-Up Date

Ste-Croix, QC & Barre, VT — Thirty three Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams made the trip to Circuit Ste-Croix for the Yvon Bedard 149 on Saturday, July 5 with young Eric Lehoux and veteran Dany Trepanier both forced to drop out with mechanical issues following the Friday practice day. While Saturday practice sessions went off without a hitch, rains moved in along the St. Lawrence River just before the 3:15pm Post Time to grind Saturday’s showcase to a halt.

Barre, VT — A trip ten years in the making, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns to the banks of the St. Lawrence River this Saturday, July 5 for the Yvon Bedard 149 at Circuit Riverside Speedway in Ste-Croix, Quebec. Long touted as Quebec’s fastest oval, the 5/8-mile, moderately banked Speedway has returned to the schedule with new pavement laid down in preparation for the celebration of one of Quebec’s fan-favorites. Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour Announces New, $5,000 Quebec Challenge Series

Barre, VT — After the drivers meeting announcement at Autodrome Chaudiere on Saturday, June 21, Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials today released the point fund and procedures for the newly-minted Quebec Challenge Series. The Quebec Challenge Series is comprised of the three Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour events held in the Canadian Province of Quebec, starting with the Claude Leclerc 150 at Chaudiere and including the Yvon Bedard 149 at Circuit Riverside Speedway on July 5 and the CAN-AM 200 at Autodrome Montmagny on July 19.

NASCAR Canada Heads East to Riverside International Speedway for the Season’s First Oval

(Antigonish, NS), June 26, 2025 – The NASCAR Canada Series resumes this Saturday, June 28, with the Riverside 300, marking the second event of the 2025 season. The event will feature 300 laps of racing on the high-banked 1/3-mile asphalt oval.

Last year’s winner Kevin Lacroix, in the No. 74 Adaptive One Calipers / NAPA Racing Chevrolet, returns to Riverside International Speedway aiming for another strong performance.

Ladies Acceleration Tour Kicks off Sophomore Season at Speedway 95

Unfavorable weather conditions detoured the start of the 2025 Ladies Acceleration Tour season and nearly delayed another event on Saturday as the races at Riverside Speedway were cancelled. Fortunately, Speedway 95 stepped in and asked if the tour would like to join their racing program on Sunday, in which they happily obliged.

Over $220,000 Posted for Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour Midseason Swing

Barre, VT — Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials released today five entry forms covering events from the June 21 visit to Autodrome Chaudiere to the 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 at White Mountain Motorsports Park on August 2. Those five events combine for a grand total of $222,460 in posted awards for the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams during a busy summer stretch for the iconic Tour.

Jonathan McKennedy Announces Busy 2025 Schedule Between Tour-Type Modifieds, Supermodifieds

Modified and Supermodified winner Jon McKennedy announced Thursday a busy schedule for the 2025 racing season. Again for 2025, McKennedy will compete in both the Tour-Type Modifieds and the Supermodifieds, mixed between multiple different divisions with both classes.

Between all divisions, McKennedy has roughly 35 races planned.
