(Antigonish, NS), June 26, 2025 – The NASCAR Canada Series resumes this Saturday, June 28, with the Riverside 300, marking the second event of the 2025 season. The event will feature 300 laps of racing on the high-banked 1/3-mile asphalt oval.
Last year’s winner Kevin Lacroix, in the No. 74 Adaptive One Calipers / NAPA Racing Chevrolet, returns to Riverside International Speedway aiming for another strong performance.
Also set to compete are Louis-Philippe Dumoulin driving the No. 47 WeatherTech Canada / Omnifab, Andrew Ranger in the No. 27 GM Paillé Chevrolet, DJ Kennington driving the No. 17 Castrol Edge / Brimstone Games / CIM Metals Dodge and Jason Hathaway commanding the No. 3 Leland / Sangsin Brakes / Fast Eddie / HGC Chevrolet, all of whom have captured at least one win over the past few years at Riverside International Speedway.
Joining them on the grid is the defending champion Marc-Antoine Camirand, behind the wheel of the No. 96 GM Paillé / Chevrolet Canada Chevrolet. Mathieu Kingsbury, who is running his first full-time season in the NASCAR Canada Series, will take on Riverside 300 in the No. 9 Duroking / BFL Canada Chevrolet. For this round, Donald Theetge takes over the No. 80 St-Hubert / UPS Store / Bet GRW Chevrolet.
Newfoundland native Sara Thorne returns to action in the No. 8 Chevrolet and Brent Wheller will take the wheel of the No. 98 Curb Records Ford.
Veteran driver Larry Jackson returns to Riverside International in the No. 84 Rack.ca – Superior Propane Dodge. Rookie William Larue, who challenged Kevin Lacroix in a tense on-track battle last season at Montmagny, will be behind the wheel of the No. 45 Larue Industrial Snowblowers Chevrolet. Ryan Vargas, in the No. 28 Critical Path Security Canada Dodge, will make his first start at Riverside.

On-track activities will kick off Saturday with practice at 1:30 p.m. ADT, followed by qualifying at 6:00 p.m. ADT. The Riverside 300 is scheduled to go green at 9:00 p.m. ADT. Fans can catch the action with tape-delayed coverage available on REV TV on June 30 at 7:00 p.m. ET and at a later date on TSN and TVA Sports.
