Monadnock Speedway And Whelen Short Track Cup Up Next For Modified Tour

The stars and cars of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour return to action Saturday night for the running of the Cheshire County Clash 200 at New Hampshire’s Monadnock Speedway (6 p.m. ET on FloRacing).

The race, the third of the 2025 Modified Tour season, doubles as the opening round of the Whelen Short Track Cup mini-series that offers more than $20,000 in additional bonuses to teams that compete in all three rounds.

Seekonk Speedway Added To Whelen Short Track Cup Lineup For 2025

JDV Productions recently announced that the Whelen Short Track Cup mini-series will include the May 31 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at Seekonk (Mass.) Speedway in 2025.

The Short Track Cup was made up in 2024 by the three Whelen Modified Tour events at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. Monadnock will host two series events in 2025 on May 3 and July 19.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series Heads Back to the ‘Paperclip’ of Short Tracks

As the NASCAR Xfinity Series winds down the 2024 season, the drivers and teams will now be heading to Martinsville Speedway for the Playoffs’ penultimate race, the National Debt Relief 250, on Saturday, November 2 at 4 p.m. ET on the CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).

This will be the 43rd NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Martinsville Speedway. The previous 42 races have produced 28 different race winners and 22 different pole winners. Only six races have been won from the pole or first starting position, but it’s been over 35 years since a driver was able to accomplish the feat – most recently by Jimmy Hensley in 1987.

Finale of Whelen Granite State Short Track Cup Moved to Monadnock Speedway

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – JDV Productions and NASCAR announced today that the finale of the second annual Whelen Granite State Short Track Cup has been moved to Monadnock Speedway with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on Saturday, September 9. After rain forced the Clash at Claremont to not take place on July 29, officials are also announcing today the event at Claremont Motorsports Park will not be rescheduled.
