The stars and cars of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour return to action Saturday night for the running of the Cheshire County Clash 200 at New Hampshire’s Monadnock Speedway (6 p.m. ET on FloRacing).
The race, the third of the 2025 Modified Tour season, doubles as the opening round of the Whelen Short Track Cup mini-series that offers more than $20,000 in additional bonuses to teams that compete in all three rounds.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship has a long, memorable history of racing in the streets, ranging from Miami to Del Mar, San Antonio to Detroit, Nova Scotia to Australia. Bicentennial Park’s streets played host to a two-time Formula 1 World Champion coming out of retirement to race in 1983 in IMSA’s Grand Prix of Miami, setting the stage for a glorious second act to his legendary career. You may have heard of him: Emerson Fittipaldi. And it was Scotland’s Allan McNish (driving with a strained back he injured whilst stepping out of kilt during a pre-race photo shoot) who teamed with Rinaldo “Dindo” Capello and Brad Jones to win IMSA’s first and only race Down Under on the streets of Adelaide.
Allmendinger to Drive the No. 16 Black’s Tire Service Chevy at Martinsville Speedway
Lexington, N.C. (March 24, 2025) – Kaulig Racing and Black’s Tire Service (BTS) announce an expansion of their partnership for the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway this Sunday. AJ Allmendinger will drive the No. 16 Black’s Tire Service Chevy for the NASCAR Cup Series race.

JDV Productions recently announced that the Whelen Short Track Cup mini-series will include the May 31 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at Seekonk (Mass.) Speedway in 2025.
The Short Track Cup was made up in 2024 by the three Whelen Modified Tour events at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. Monadnock will host two series events in 2025 on May 3 and July 19.
As the NASCAR Xfinity Series winds down the 2024 season, the drivers and teams will now be heading to Martinsville Speedway for the Playoffs’ penultimate race, the National Debt Relief 250, on Saturday, November 2 at 4 p.m. ET on the CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).
This will be the 43rd NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Martinsville Speedway. The previous 42 races have produced 28 different race winners and 22 different pole winners. Only six races have been won from the pole or first starting position, but it’s been over 35 years since a driver was able to accomplish the feat – most recently by Jimmy Hensley in 1987.
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Briggs Danner of Allentown Pa. was able to win out on a four driver battle for the lead, then fend off a last lap challenge from Steven Drevicki of Reading, Pa. to score the win in the 25-lap Rapid Tire USAC East Coast Sprint Series feature Saturday night at Grandview Speedway. As the series winds down the 2023 season, the NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers will now be heading to Martinsville Speedway for the penultimate race – the Dead On Tools 250 on Saturday, October 28 at 3:30 p.m. ET (USA Network, NBC Sports App, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR radio).
WINCHESTER, N.H. – Doug Coby and Tommy Baldwin Racing returned to NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour competition on Saturday night at Monadnock Speedway and they were celebrating after 150 laps in New Hampshire.
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – JDV Productions and NASCAR announced today that the finale of the second annual Whelen Granite State Short Track Cup has been moved to Monadnock Speedway with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on Saturday, September 9. After rain forced the Clash at Claremont to not take place on July 29, officials are also announcing today the event at Claremont Motorsports Park will not be rescheduled.
