BECHTELSVILLE, PA AUGUST 10, 2021 . . . As a result of winning the Modified feature race last Saturday night at Grandview Speedway Craig Von Dohren has moved to within 19 points of Brett Kressley in the chase for the NASCAR T.P.Trailers Modified championship. Kressley, the point leader for much of the season, finished 15th in the feature race. Going into the $10,000 to win 51st Annual Forrest Rogers Memorial on Saturday, August 14th, Kressley, shooting for his first Modified championship, has 3803 points while Von Dohren, the defending champion looking for his 12th title has 3784 points. Third is held by Jared Umbenhauer with 3445 counters. Just five NASCAR point events remain on the 2021 schedule. (more…)

Big Names Ready for Rescheduled “Battle at the Bowl” on Sunday (Devil’s Bowl Speedway)
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Mother Nature can’t stop Devil’s Bowl Speedway. The third annual “Battle at the Bowl” Dirt Modified event was postponed a week by rain to Sunday, August 15 at 5:00 p.m., but a little wet weather certainly did not dampen the spirit of the event. Cabral Doubles up at the High Banks of Hudson in NEMA Sunday Special
The Northeastern Midget Association rolled into the high banks of the Hudson International Speedway this past Saturday evening. It was the first time the full midgets visited Hudson in nearly 20 years, and the second time this season for the LItes. Seven-time NEMA champion, Randy Cabral of Kingston, MA, dominated the evening winning both the Lite and NEMA portions of the show. Cabral extended his historic run, winning a feature event in the last 22 consecutive seasons – a mark that surpassed Dave Humphrey’s fifteen consecutive seven years ago.
Justin Bonsignore Comes Up One Spot Short At Stafford
STAFFORD, Conn. — Justin Bonsignore came up just one spot short on Friday, August 6, in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour’s return to Stafford Motor Speedway. Driving the No. 51 Kenneth Massa Motorsports machine, Bonsignore entered the race with no wins in 39 career starts at the Connecticut half-mile, and left with none in 40 starts.
