Ricky Stenhouse Jr. found victory lane once again and threw the playoff battle into a tizzy. Combined with the huge wreck late in Stage 3, the Charlotte Roval will play an outsized role in determining the next round of the playoff picture.

Barre, VT — Following the annual pomp and circumstance of the annual season ending classic, the brave drivers of the American-Canadian Tour took on the first of three Segments in the 62nd Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank. Polesitter Gabe Brown jumped ahead to lead the pack early while collecting the first lap money of the event along with Marcel Gravel in second and Jimmy Hebert in third. Driving hard on the outside lane, Gravel launched to lead lap nine with Hebert and previous Milk Bowl winners Jason Corliss and Chris Pelkey in tow. A trio of mid-race, quick cycle cautions slowed the segment for heart-pounding restarts before Marcel Gravel claimed the opening segment win with Jason Corliss, Brown, Hebert and Pelkey rounding out the top five. MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 1, 2024) – Talladega Superspeedway plays host to the NASCAR Cup Series as Michael McDowell and the No. 34 team look to play Playoff spoiler this weekend.
Talladega has been a great track statistically for McDowell and Front Row Motorsports. For McDowell he has three Top-5s and four Top-10s in 27 starts, including a third-place finish in the fall of 2022 and a pole back in the spring race, leading 39 laps. For FRM, the organization has six Top-5s and 21 Top-10s, including a historic 1-2 finish with David Ragan and David Gilliand in the 2013 spring race. (more…)

Kyle Larson made an emphatic statement with his victory in Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
That doesn’t mean, however, that there aren’t formidable hurdles Larson still has to cross if he hopes to claim a second NASCAR Cup Series championship.

N. Woodstock, NH — Twenty-nine American-Canadian Tour teams entered the pit area of White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday morning with twenty-eight able to take the green for the 46th running of the Fall Foliage 200 presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. It was a Southern New Hampshire pair who led the field to green with former White Mountain Late Model Rookie of the Year Bryan Wall Jr. securing the pole position with a +3 earned in heat three alongside former ACT top freshman Erick Sands.
The two battled in the opening rounds of the 200-lap main event with Sands taking the upper hand to lead the way through lap 26 before Gabe Brown took over the point. Brown, coming off last Saturday’s successful Wall’s Ford Platinum Series triple crown title fight, utilized his knowledge of the track to stranglehold the lead through several quick-spin caution periods in the early goings. BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The 62nd anniversary season of auto racing action at Grandview Speedway moves into the 54th annual Freedom 76 race weekend, the biggest, most prestigious, and most lucrative racing of the year for competitors.
The Freedom 76 weekend begins this Friday, September 20 with the 11th annual Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship race, along with qualifying events, plus practice time for Modified drivers wishing to participate in the Freedom 76.
Friday’s program will be known as Fans for Five Friday as the grandstand admission is just $5, while children ages 9 and under will be free of charge. Pit admission on Friday is $40, and no license is required. (more…)
CLAREMONT, N.H. – Bay State hot shoe Nate Wenzel was crowned the 2024 Sportsman Modified champion Friday night at Claremont Motorsports Park, earning his second open-wheel title in a row while, on the same event card, two drivers earned their first career victory at the Thrasher Road speedplant.
Both first-timers Kyle Kenny and Bradey Lamotte topped their Friday night feature event. Tyler Leary won the night’s Sportsman Modified feature, Super Street ace Chris Riendeau romped to an easy $1,000 win on Frazer’s Place Night, and Seth Drown won a thriller in the Ridge Runners. (more…)
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (September 10, 2024) – The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Finger Lakes of Upstate New York and Watkins Glen International for road course racing this weekend.
Michael McDowell returns to his road racing roots, looking for another solid finish. So far this season, the No. 34 has had two Top-5s on road courses, a 2nd place at Sonoma and a 5th place at the Chicago Street Race. (more…)
