EPPING, N.H. – Bryan Kruczek has made a habit out of winning at Star Speedway. But Friday’s checkered flag hit a bit differently.
The Newmarket, N.H., racer closed out the Granite State Pro Stock Series season at his team’s home track with a win in the Ty Cooper Land Holdings 100, celebrating his second win of the year on the birthday of car owner Bobby Webber’s late father.
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted First Responder Friday on September 9 with the TC 13 Shootout joining Stafford’s five weekly divisions in feature action. The SK Modified® division ran their regularly scheduled 40-lap feature as well as the 3rd Annual TC 13 Shootout, a 13 lap race contested between the top-13 finishers from the 40-lap feature.
Team Oakley Athlete Eli Tomac wins his 4th 450 Motocross Championship as the first rider to win SX and MX in the same calendar year since 2015. On the podium Tomac was wearing Oakley Gold Encoder and during his race was sporting his new Oakley Eli Tomac Signature Series Airbrake MX Goggle. (more…)
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to NASCAR weekly racing action with the Late Model division taking center stage with their extra distance Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50 feature event. Tom Fearn was the big winner of the night by winning the 50-lap Paradiso Insurance 50-lap race for his first career extra distance victory among his now 61 career Late Model feature wins at Stafford. WINCHESTER, N.H. – Todd Patnode had the dominant car Saturday at Monadnock Speedway, blistering the high banks to score his second NHSTRA Modified victory of the summer.
But while the former track champ had the fastest car all night, it was the presence of an errant lapper on lap 25 that left fans and competitors alike with a bevy of what-ifs at the conclusion of Saturday’s 40-lap main event. (more…)

When racing gives you lemons, you make lemonade. That is exactly what Chris Turbush of Wading River did Saturday night at Riverhead Raceway capturing his first career NASCAR Modified victory in spectacular fashion. Turbush was penalized earlier in the race for rough driving after contact with another competitor. Instead of throwing in the towel Turbush and his team pulled up their boot straps went to work and drove back to the front for the win. (more…)
“Looking at the competition right now, you have to like Toyota’s chances. But look out, (Kevin) Harvick was second to (Denny) Hamlin in the spring race. If you doubt Harvick, you don’t know him very well.”
While Toyota didn’t do too badly in the race, the Ford of Kevin Harvick came to play. It seems just a few weeks ago many were wondering if Harvick could even make the playoffs. He was below the cut line and he hadn’t been very sporty.
