New England Connections At The Bristol Dirt Colosseum – How Did They Fare?

Sunday’s washout at the Bristol Circus Maximus resulted in NASCAR rescheduling both the NASCAR Pinty Truck race and the Cup event to Monday.  Martin Truex, Jr. ended up the winner in the Trucks while Parker Kligerman of Stamford, CT ended the day in 18th place with Brett Moffit driving Cape Cod’s Chris Hour entry, who resides in Harwich, MA, to a disappointing 24th.

Later on Monday afternoon, Joey Logano of Middletown, CT, always having the ability to finish in the top five, ended up the winner in the NASCAR Cup event while keeping Ricky Stenhouse, Jr at bay.  Berlin, CT’s Ryan Preece came in 18th.  Corey LaJoie, son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who is a Norwalk, CT native, finished 38th crashing out in the early going as did Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT who also wrecked and took last place 39th.
