ACT and Autodrome Montmagny Finalize Nearly $55,000 CAN-AM 200 Purse

Barre, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Autodrome Montmagny have finalized a $54,986 USD purse and pay-out structure for the CAN-AM 200 on Saturday, August 20. The purse includes pay-out, contingencies and point fund contributions and will be paid in US currency. As stated previously, the grand return of ACT to the Montmagny circuit will pay $10,000 to the winner with a guaranteed $700 to start in the 200-lap extravaganza.

The CAN-AM 200 will no doubt be a war of attrition, testing the ability and stamina of both driver and machine. At 200 laps on the 3/8-mile of Autodrome Montmagny, drivers will face a grueling 75-mile sprint with nothing but 10,000 Washingtons and the popping cork of a champagne bottle on their minds. The best of Quebec will defend their home turf against ACT Late Model Tour invaders for the first time in over two decades with each side of the border digging in deep for the top prize.

The ACT Late Model Tour’s return to Autodrome Montmagny marks the sixth race of the 2022 season that pays at least $5,000-to-win including the Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the Claude Leclerc 150 at Autodrome Chaudiere, the Milton CAT Midsummer 250 at White Mountain Motorsports Park and the New England Federal Credit Union Labor Day Classic at Thunder Road.

CAN-AM 200 Purse Structure –

1st – $10,000, 2nd – $6,000, 3rd – $4,000, 4th – $3,000, 5th – $2,500, 6th – $2,000, 7th – $1,750, 8th – $1,500, 9th – $1,250, 10th – $1,000, 11th – $900, 12th – $800, 13th through 30th – $700.

The CAN-AM 200 at Autodrome Montmagny on August 20th, 2022 will feature a $10,000 USD-winners check with a $700 USD-to-start purse coming at a crucial point in the ACT Late Model Tour season. Caught between the Milton CAT Midsummer 250 at White Mountain Motorsports Park and the Oxford Plains 125 in Oxford, Maine, the CAN-AM 200 will challenge point leading teams in a stalemate challenge against a strong mix of New England outlaws and a stout Quebecois home team.

The 31st season of ACT Late Model Tour competition kicks off on Saturday, April 16 with the 2nd Annual Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The ACT Late Models, PASS Super Late Models and Modified Racing Series will go for Triple-50s along with the R&R Race Parts NH Street Stock Open Series, the Northeast Mini Stock Tour (NEMST), EXIT Realty Pro Truck Challenge and Limited Late Model Open.
