Saturday’s Xfinity Series at Richmond saw Chandler Smith take down the win with Boston’s Kaz Grala finishing fourth while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT. ended up eighth.
Jeb Burton ended up 12th and Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT came in 38th. Burton and Alfredo both drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who call Harwich, MA home.
Sunday’s Cup go was taken by Kyle Larson, his first of the 2023 racing season. Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano finished seventh while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 18th. Corey LaJoie finished 21st. Corey is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT.
