Please join us this coming Sunday, June 11th, for the first regularly scheduled Darien Cars and Coffee of 2023. These gatherings will take place on the second Sunday of every month from June to October between 7 am and 10 am at a location steeped in automotive history.
Goodwives Shopping Center [directions] was the starting point for the last official Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash and its successor, Brock Yates’ One Lap of America. Sadly, the old Lock, Stock, and Barrel restaurant where the races started burned down some years ago but Goodwives remains, and it is the perfect spot for car people like us to get together and share our passion for automobiles. (Note: for those of you who were at the Lock Stock for that last race, we apologize, but there won’t be any Jello wrestling this time around.) PARKING AND ADMISSION |
