Twang Teams Up w/ Spencer Boyd for 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Season

Twang, creators of the original Beer Salt and premium flavored salt, sugar and spice blends, is proud to announce its sponsorship of Spencer Boyd for the 2023 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season with upcoming races in Kansas City, Bristol, Talladega, Miami and Phoenix. Throughout the 2023 season, Twang’s iconic logo will adorn Spencer Boyd’s truck, prominently displayed in five exhilarating races. On September 14th for the race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Twang will take center stage with a fully wrapped Beer Salt branded truck! For the remaining four races, Twang’s logo will proudly find its place alongside other sponsors on the vehicle.

About Spencer Boyd:

When he was 14, Spencer Boyd’s family moved to Charlotte, NC, to be near the heartbeat of stock car racing. A fast learner of the larger and faster Legends Cars, he collected victories and championships, including the Rockingham Speedway (NC) titles in 2011 and  2012. Along with his 23 wins in 43 starts (average finish 1.7), he also won the NC state championship, and Touring Series championship and finished second in the INEX National Points standings.

Boyd graduated to competition at Hickory Motor Speedway, one of the most noted and challenging short-track venues in the United States. Boyd was not intimidated by the step up, winning eight of his first ten starts on the way to winning the 2014 Hickory Motor Speedway Super Truck Championship.

In his NASCAR debut at Martinsville Speedway, he drove up to fifth place at one point in the race. In all, Boyd competed in fourteen NASCAR races in 2016/17 with a best finish of 13th at Talladega. He competed full-time in 2018, driving the No. 76 Grunt Style Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, and finished fourth for 2018 most popular driver in his rookie season. Since 2019, Boyd has been piloting Chevrolet Silverado’s for Young’s Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He earned his first win in 2019 at Talladega.
