At age 69, Ken Schrader has raced in 48 of the 50 United States and he shows no signs of slowing—he spent more than 100 days in a race car in 2024
A partner with Federated Auto Parts for 25 years, when Schrader isn’t racing, he’s having “play days” with the company’s customers where dirt or pavement Modifieds are taken to a race track. The customers make eight or 10 laps in the car, and then they get in the right side of a two-seated race car and get another two or three laps at racing speed with Schrader.
“We’ll do it Monday through Friday so I can race somewhere in that area Saturday and Sunday,” Schrader said during an interview on Epartrade.com during that company’s recent Race Industry Week.
