Steller Motorsport Completes GT World Challenge Europe Prologue, Confirms Sprint Cup Entry Alongside Endurance Campaign

Steller Motorsport completed the two-day Prologue at the Circuit Paul Ricard circuit ahead of the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe season, and confirmed an entry into this year’s Sprint Cup alongside its endurance campaign.

The team had already enjoyed a successful preseason testing programme, spending days at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and Circuit Paul Ricard in February to better understand the new Corvette Z06 GT3.R cars it is racing in 2025. This testing time proved to be even more important, with the official Prologue days the French circuit hampered by inclement weather.

Despite the challenges presented by the conditions, it gave the team a chance to learn more about setting up the cars in the wet and cold, and also benchmark themselves against the competition.

Having already confirmed an entry into the Endurance Cup in 2025, Steller Motorsport also used the Prologue to announce an entry into the Sprint Cup. The team will field two cars in the endurance series, and one sprint entry, with drivers for both to be announced.

Team manager Max Daymond said, “The weather did its best to make things difficult over these two days, but it was still good to get back out on track with our competitors and see how we stack up. We got a good number of laps in, in both the wet and the dry – and it was really wet yesterday [Monday] – which gave us more data to work with as we continue to learn the new Corvette.

“It’s been a very busy start to the year, but it’s also great to be in the position to announce that we’ll also be contesting the Sprint Cup as well as the endurance series. This was always our aim, and we’ll be announcing our driver lineup shortly.”

The first GT World Challenge Europe round takes place on 11-13 April at Circuit Paul Ricard, with a six-hour night race running from 18:00 on Saturday 12 April to midnight.
