The ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East will compete together in a full-points combination event, the General Tire 150, this Friday at Dover Motor Speedway. The race will pay full points to both series, and the winner will be credited with a victory in both series.- The race will be the second ARCA Menards Series race at Dover Motor Speedway and the 35th for the ARCA Menards Series East dating back to the series’ first season, 1987.
- Brenden “Butterbean” Queen (No. 28 BestRepair.net Chevrolet) leads the ARCA Menards Series championship standings into the tenth race of the 2025 season. Queen has won three times so far this season – Daytona International Speedway, Kansas Speedway, and Michigan International Speedway – and leads the standings by nine points over second-place Lawless Alan (No. 20 AUTOParkIt Toyota) and 17 points over third-place Lavar Scott (No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet).
- Queen and Alan will be making their first start of any kind at Dover. Scott has made two previous starts at Dover; he led four laps and finished fifth in a stand-alone East race in 2023 and finished fourth in 2024.
- Scott will be making his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut on Saturday, driving an entry fielded by Alpha Prime Racing.
- Sixteen-year-old Isaac Kitzmiller (No. 79 A.L.L. Construction Chevrolet) leads the ARCA Menards Series East standings into the fifth race of the eight scheduled in 2025. Kitzmiller leads by six points over Tyler Reif (No. 23 Vegas Fasteners / Sigma Performance Services Chevrolet).
- Kitzmiller and Reif will be making their first Dover start; they both raced earlier this season at the one-mile Rockingham Speedway where Kitzmiller finished sixth and Reif was 17th.
- Jake Finch (No. 25 Phoenix Toyota) will make his first ARCA Menards Series appearance since he finished seventh at Talladega Superspeedway in April. Finch is a former winner at Dover, winning the stand-alone East race there in 2023.
- Monster Truck driver Camden Murphy (No. 70 Dreamer Toyota) will make his first ARCA Menards Series start driving for Nitro Motorsports. “Monster Jam Cam”, as he is known to Monster Truck fans, has 29 career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts and seven NASCAR Xfinity Series starts. He has two previous Truck Series starts at Dover, coming in 2017 and 2018 with a best finish of 29th (2018).
- Timmy Hill (No. 56 Hill Motorsports Toyota) will make his first East start since a crash at Rockingham Speedway sidelined the team while the car was being rebuilt.
- The 25 cars on the preliminary entry list are the most for an ARCA Menards Series platform race at Dover Motor Speedway since 2016.
- There will be two five-minute breaks for teams to change tires, add fuel, and make adjustments and/or repairs, at or around laps 50 and 100. Teams are not required to pit at that time, but the two breaks are the only time teams can pit and add fuel without penalty.
- William Sawalich holds the ARCA Menards Series track qualifying record at Dover Motor Speedway, set in 2023, at 22.248 seconds/161.812 miles per hour.
- Connor Zilisch holds the ARCA Menards Series track race record at Dover Motor Speedway, set in 2023, at 84.879 miles per hour.
- The General Tire 150 will be televised live on FS1 starting at 5 pm ET on Friday, July 18. The race will also be broadcast live on select affiliates of the MRN Radio network nationwide as well as streamed on MRN.com.
