INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 23, 2025) – Flying Lizard Motorsports added more podium tallies to its history this past weekend at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, securing three podium finishes across two races in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship. With consistent pace and expert driving, the team’s pair of entries, the No. 41 of Paul Nemschoff and Marc Miller, and the No. 14 “Sparklefarts” Lamborghini of Slade Stewart and Andy Lee, delivered a strong showing to close out the North American portion of the season.
This past weekend concluded with an outstanding performance, as both cars demonstrated exceptional speed, and all four drivers delivered impressive stints. Their strong performances have ensured both cars remain firmly in contention in the championship. With the unpredictability of these races, we are in a strong position to have both of our cars will in the mix for a 2025 championship podium. This result gives us valuable momentum heading into the World Finals in Italy, and we will continue to push until the very end.
Marc Miller took the green flag for Race One from fourth in class, while Stewart lined up seventh in class. A chaotic start saw several cars spin in the opening corners, but both Flying Lizard drivers skillfully avoided the incidents to maintain position. A full-course caution soon followed for debris, resetting the field.
Miller charged into the top three before handing over to Nemschoff, while Stewart dodged another near miss when a rival spun directly in front of him. Stewart pitted early to swap with Andy Lee, who rejoined deep in the field and immediately began making up ground. With 17 minutes left, Miller completed his required stop from the class lead, handing the car to Nemschoff in second place. Both cars ran clean and consistent laps, Lee’s determined late-race push earned the No. 14 a hard-fought third-place finish. The result secured a double podium for the Lizards, with Nemschoff finishing second and Lee rounding out the top three.
Race Two brought additional action, with Nemschoff starting fifth in class and Lee starting at the very back of the field, 31st overall. The opening lap was clean, and Lee wasted no time, climbing nine positions in just one lap. An early three-car incident brought out a lengthy 22-minute caution, pushing the pit stop window late into the race.
Nemschoff handed over to Miller, who quickly went on the attack, while Lee turned the car over to Stewart with 13 minutes to go. Stewart rejoined in second place overall, while Miller carved his way up to a strong second-place finish in PRO-AM. Stewart brought the No. 14 home fourth in class after an impressive run through the pack, gaining a total of 21 positions in the race.
With their pair of podiums, Nemschoff and Miller climbed from fifth to third in the PRO-AM class standings just eight points out of second place in the championship, while Stewart and Lee remain firmly in fourth only three points behind Nemschoff and Miller. The strong Indianapolis weekend sets up Flying Lizard Motorsports for the final showdown of the 2025 season at Misano, Italy, November 8-11. The season finale will feature four races: two against the North American field, followed by two more in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals, where competitors from North America, Europe, and Asia will battle for the prestigious world title.
