The stars of the ARCA Menards Series return to Minnesota on Saturday, June 27 for the Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy at Elko Speedway. The 250-lap main event will bring many of the nation’s top rising stock car drivers to the high-banked 3/8-mile oval for one of the premier racing events of the summer. In addition to the ARCA Menards Series, fans will also enjoy a full racing program featuring the Late Models, Power Stocks, and Thunder Cars.
Minnesota fans will have plenty of hometown talent to cheer for, including 17-year-old Ty Fredrickson. The young standout enters the event with momentum after a Legends feature win at Elko Speedway earlier this season and a fourth-place finish in Super Late Model competition at Madison International Speedway Tuesday night. Fredrickson also impressed in his lone ARCA Menards Series start at Elko last year, finishing fourth against a strong national field. The event is expected to feature a mix of established ARCA contenders and local favorites looking to make their mark on one of the Midwest’s most competitive short tracks.

Defending race winner Max Reaves returns to Elko as the only former Shore Lunch 250 winner entered in this year’s field. One of the most remarkable statistics in Shore Lunch 250 history is that no driver has ever won the race twice. Eleven previous events have produced eleven different winners, including NASCAR stars and ARCA standouts such as Frank Kimmel, Grant Enfinger, Corey Heim, Sammy Smith, Jesse Love, William Sawalich, and Max Reaves. Will Elko produce its 12th different winner, or will Reaves become the first repeat victor?
